This September, Dormont Public Library and libraries across Allegheny County are inviting our neighbors to show their love!
Now in its eighth year, “Love Your Library,” a county-wide initiative developed by the Allegheny County Library Association and Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, provides a way for residents to “show their love” to their local library.
This year we are making a special effort to fundraise in support of our devoted staff!
We have Love Your Library tote bags for $5 at the front desk throughout September, and free Love Your Library lawn signs that you can use to show your support!
Tote bags are also free with a donation of $50 or greater.
Open Your Hearts Fundraiser
Saturday, September 9, 11 AM
This September, we’re asking members of the community to open your hearts in a collaborative art project for Love Your Library month!
- For a $1 donation, receive a small heart.
- For a $3 donation, receive a medium heart.
- For a $5 donation, receive a large heart!
We’ll have plenty of art supplies ready on Saturday, September 9! Come and join other community members and staff as we decorate and link the hearts into a chain that we’ll display through September.
We’re looking forward to seeing your heart!
