Season’s Readings
Watch the Dormont Holiday Parade and then stop by the library parking lot for Season's Readings! The Friends of the Dormont Library will have coffee, cocoa, crafts, cookies, and special guest readers on hand to entertain you.
Origami Club (Fall-Winter 2023)
Practice the classic Japanese art of folding paper. Participating is free; for a $3 materials fee, we’ll provide enough paper and beads to create a beaded streamer of 5 origami creations. Suitable for children middle-school and up, young adults, and adults.
Teen Advisory Council (School Year)
Dormont Library is recruiting teens ages 14-19 to join our Teen Advisory Council. Our goal is to make the library a more appealing space for teens! This is also a great opportunity to show leadership and earn community service hours. Suggest your ideas for future events at our next meeting!
Origami Club: Star
Origami Club at Dormont Library 1st Saturday monthly, 11 AM Join us for a free origami demonstration on the first Saturday of each month at 11 AM. We’ll have a new theme every month! By popular demand, we’re also offering a take-home origami kit with materials enough to make a full streamer of each month’s origami creation. (There is a $3.00 fee per kit to cover materials.)
