Holiday Closing: Monday, May 30

Dormont Library will be closed all day on Monday, May 30 in observance of Memorial Day. We will re-open with our regular hours on Tuesday, May 31. The board and staff of Dormont Public Library would like to wish all of our patrons a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend.

Open for Limited In-Person Services; Masks Required

Dormont Public Library is currently open for limited in-person services. In the interests of public health and to protect unvaccinated children, mask use will continue to be required until further notice, regardless of a patron or staff member's vaccination status.

Our current hours are:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday: 9 AM-5 PM
Tuesday: 11 AM-7 PM
Friday: 9 AM-2 PM

Curbside pickup services, remote printing, and 24/7 Wi-Fi in the parking lot will remain in place as long as there is a demand for these services. We encourage patrons to use these services whenever possible.

Our third scavenger hunt continues until July 31. The theme of this one is Pets, both everyday and exotic. Are you a dog person? A cat person? Or maybe… an iguana person? Page Turner Adventures: Fantastic Beasts

The third week of Page Turner Adventures videos are here! Each day Monday through Friday, come back to check out a new video. Earn extra prizes in the Summer Reading Program challenge by watching the Page Turner videos. This week’s theme is “Fantastic Beasts,” featuring ancient powerhouses like dinosaurs and creatures of myth and legend like mermaids, unicorns, and aliens.
