Visit the Allegheny County Libraries OverDrive page to browse or search for eBooks and eAudiobooks. Most OverDrive books can be read right in your browser, or install the free Libby app for iOS and Android devices.

Many OverDrive eBooks are also available to read on Kindle devices and apps. OverDrive is built right into recent models of Kobo eReaders, and other EPUB-compatible e-readers are supported using Adobe Digital Editions software.

Flipster Magazines by EBSCO

Read a selection of over 70 popular magazines online with the Flipster service from EBSCO. Apps are available for iOS and Android devices, or you can read magazines right in your web browser.

Flipster users can check out an unlimited number of magazines at one time without waiting for copies to become available. Loan periods last between 2 and 7 days.

Enjoy a selection of audiobooks, music, and videos with the Hoopla service. There’s never any waiting to download an item and apps are available for smartphones, tablets, set0top boxes, smart TVs, and more. A free Hoopla account and a valid Allegheny County library card are required.
