November 18 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Small things come in beautiful packages. Learn about the history of the art of bonsai and how to style, prune, and properly care for your own in this three hour-long, hands-on seminar!
Participants are invited to observe as instructor David Rizwan demonstrates how to properly style, prune, and care for a bonsai or purchase one of their own to practice on and take home.
All materials and tools for this class will be provided; however, guests are welcome to bring their own scissors, pruners, wire cutters, and narrow-tip pliers if they wish.
The cost for this program is $25, which includes the cost of both the class and the bonsai; if you choose not to purchase a tree of your own, Bonsai trees are now sold out, but room to observe the class is still available for $10 per person.
Registration is required for this program; please contact the library at 412-531-8754 to register.
Only 10 bonsai plants will be available to purchase, but up to 25 students may attend.
