eBooks and eAudiobooks are now available through partnership with OverDrive. Visit the Allegheny County Libraries OverDrive page to browse or search for eBooks and eAudiobooks.
The OverDrive Media Console software is required to view or listen to OverDrive content. Most Windows and Mac computers are compatible with the OverDrive Media Console, as well as iOS and Android mobile devices. Complete instructions for installation and use of the OverDrive Media Console software are available from OverDrive. New users may also wish to view a video tour of the OverDrive software. OverDrive eBooks are compatible with select models of e-reader devices, now including Amazon’s Kindle. Due to digital rights management, OverDrive eAudiobooks may not be compatible with iPod or other portable media players.
